The 12th Annual Mustang Mile is Back!

The 12th Annual Mustang Mile is back on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. on Perimeter Road, near the Cal Poly Recreation Center (Building 43). ASI Events and ASI Intramural Sports are hosting this event in collaboration with Campus Health & Wellbeing, Friday Night Live, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Aware Awake Alive, and the WITH US Center for Bystander Intervention at Cal Poly. 

Mustang Mile honors the memory of Carson Starkey, a Cal Poly student who lost his life to alcohol poisoning in 2008 after a fraternity hazing incident. Mustang Mile hopes to provide health and wellness resources that educate students on the signs of alcohol poisoning and the dangers of binge drinking to empower them to act and help others in harmful situations. 

SLO Mama Sweets and Woodstock’s Pizza will be available for attendees to enjoy. The band Magnolia and DJ Traveling Haus will be providing entertainment throughout the event. Costumes are encouraged! 

The first 250 individuals to register will receive a limited-edition swag bag so be sure to secure your spot early. Registration is open now! Register as an individual for $15 or as a team for $40.
