Cal Poly Rose Float

Join the tradition.

Since 1949, students from San Luis Obispo and Pomona have worked together to create the joint Cal Poly Universities float. The float is an annual tradition carried on by Cal Poly students. Gain a true Learn by Doing experience through helping to design and build the only student-built float in the Rose Parade.

Stop by the Cal Poly Rose Float booth Saturday, April 15, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., on Dexter Lawn during Cal Poly Open House Club Showcase! Stay tuned for details about “Float 101” coming in May at the Rose Float Lab.
