Cal Poly students enrolled in fall, spring, and winter terms pay the University Union Fee which covers their membership cost.
*Student fees do not cover summer term memberships.
Currently enrolled Cal Poly students do not pay the University Union Fee during the summer. Students enrolled in classes are eligible to purchase memberships or self-sponsor their own guest access. This membership is eligible for pre-pay or auto-renewal for up to three months.

Current members may sponsor one household membership at the Cal Poly-non employee rate. Household members must reside at the same residential address as the sponsoring member. Household members must be at least 18 years old during fall, winter, and spring quarters and at least 16 years old during summer quarter. The sponsoring member must have a current membership and be present during the initial household membership enrollment with proof of the same residential address.
A university-sponsored guest who may use the facility per the terms of affiliation with the university. Approval by sponsoring department required. Contact Membership Services for details.
Members may sponsor up to two guests per day for $10 per person, per visit with their current Cal Poly Recreation Center membership. Guests do not need to be eligible members of the Cal Poly community when accompanied by a sponsor.
Eligible members of the Cal Poly community have access to self-sponsored guest passes for $10 per visit. Must show proof of eligibility to self-sponsor. Cal Poly Recreation Center membership is not required. In addition to one-visit passes, self-sponsored guests may purchase a five-visit pass for $40 to be used within 90 days of purchase.
Self-sponsored guests may sponsor one additional guest per day for $10 per visit. Guests must be accompanied by a sponsor. The additional guest does not need to be an eligible member of the Cal Poly community.
Members and guests are required to present a photo ID when registering for programs, purchasing/renewing memberships, or purchasing Guest Passes.
All guests must be 16 years of age or older with photo identification that will verify age. Guests must sign a waiver of liability for each one-visit guest pass purchased; guests ages 16 or 17 must provide a parent or guardian signature for waiver. All guests must be accompanied by a sponsor while in the facility. Sponsors are responsible for the behavior of their guest and must be present when guest passes are purchased.
