Set-Up Your Access
Complete these steps and download the ASI Access app to gain access to ASI-managed facilities and programs!
Step 1: Set-up your record
Students, faculty, staff, emeritus
- A My Cal Poly Portal login is required to use ASI Access.
- If you have your My Cal Poly Portal login, proceed to step 2.
- Visit Cal Poly Information Technology Services for additional portal information.
Alumni, household, affiliates
- Visit the Recreation Center front desk to establish your record and obtain your Local Login to access online services.
Step 2: Get the ASI Access App
- The ASI Access app is used for touchless entry into the Recreation Center and other ASI-managed facilities and to register for your favorite ASI programs, events, and stay up to date on ASI news
- Download from the App Store or Google Play
Step 3: Sign the ASI Waiver of Liability
- Choose the WAIVER icon on the ASI Access app.
- Sign-in and read the document before signing.
- The ASI Waiver of Liability is valid for one academic year.
- iOS users, with the recent system upgrade, tracking may have to be enabled should you experience any issues with signing the waiver. To do this go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking > and allow tracking for ASI Access. Please note, that users under 18 years of age may not be able to adjust settings to enable tracking and may have to sign a physical waiver at the Recreation Center front desk.
- Some users may need to delete and redownload the ASI Access app to be prompted to allow tracking after updating their settings.
- ASI Recreational Sports Membership Services can assist any user experiencing waiver access issues at the Recreation Center front desk.
Step 4: Entry Barcode
- Obtain a barcode for your touchless entry into the Recreation Center.
- Stay tuned for more ways to use this barcode for other ASI-managed facilities and programs.
- Choose the MY ID icon on the ASI Access app.
- Sign-in to your My Cal Poly Portal (for campus users) or Local Login (for non-campus users).
- Scan the barcode at the entrance gates for entry.
Step 5: Fitness Class Reservations
- Choose the “My Reservations” icon on ASI Access app.
- Class reservations become available 24 hours before the desired class date.
- iOS users, with the recent system upgrade, tracking may have to be enabled should you experience any issues accessing the reservations page. To do this go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking > and allow tracking for ASI Access.
- Please note, that users under 18 years of age may not be able to adjust settings to enable tracking and may have to sign a physical waiver at the Recreation Center front desk. Signing a waiver is required for entry into the Recreation Center; class reservations may be made, but a signed waiver is required before class attendance.
