Set-Up Your Access

Complete these steps and download the FusionGO app to use ASI Access on your mobile device and gain access to ASI-managed facilities and programs.

Step 1: Set-up your record

Students, faculty, staff, emeritus

  • A My Cal Poly Portal login is required to use ASI Access.
  • If you have your My Cal Poly Portal login, proceed to step 2.
  • Visit Cal Poly Information Technology Services for additional portal information.

Alumni, household, affiliates

  • Visit the front desk to establish your record and obtain your Local Login to access online services.
    • San Luis Obispo campus: Cal Poly Recreation Center (Building 43) Membership Services front desk 
    • Solano campus: Physical Education and Aquatics Center (PEAC) front desk 

Step 2: Get the ASI Access App

  • ASI Access is available on desktop or through the FusionGO mobile app. 
  • Use ASI Access to register for your favorite ASI programs, receive push notifications with important news and updates, and access the Cal Poly Recreation Center and Physical Education and Aquatics Center with touchless entry. 
  • Download FusionGO from the App Store or Google Play. Search for “Cal Poly” on the “Find Your Organization” page to connect.

Step 3: Sign the ASI Waiver of Liability

  • After logging in to ASI Access on the mobile app, a waiver will be prompted based on the facility being accessed:
    • Cal Poly Recreation Center: ASI Waiver of Liability, Recreation Center – General Access (San Luis Obispo)
    • ASI Poly Escapes Climbing Park (San Luis Obispo): Climbing Park Waiver
    • Physical Education and Aquatics Center: ASI Waiver of Liability, Physical Education and Aquatic Center – General Access (Solano)
  • Select and read the document before signing.
  • Please note, visitors under 18 years of age must provide parent or guardian information so a waiver can be sent for signature prior to using the facility. The signed waiver must be returned before access will be granted. Once the signed waiver is received, the user’s account will be updated and mobile app barcode access will be available.
  • The ASI Waiver of Liability is valid for one academic year.
  • ASI Recreational Sports Membership Services can assist any user experiencing waiver access issues at the front desk. 

Step 4: Entry Barcode

  • Obtain a barcode for your touchless entry into the Recreation Center or PEAC facility.
    • Stay tuned for more ways to use this barcode for other ASI-managed facilities and programs.
  • Your barcode will be accessible in the footer of the app; look for the large barcode icon within the circle.
  • Click the icon to access the barcode.
  • Scan the barcode at the entrance gates for entry.

 

Step 5: Fitness Class Reservations

  • On the ASI Access desktop, choose the “My Reservations” icon.
  • On the mobile app, select the “My Events” tab or “Quick Links” tab for Fusion Bookings.
  • Class reservations become available 24 hours before the desired class date.
  • ASI Recreational Sports Membership Services can assist any user experiencing access issues at the front desk.
