At the Cal Poly Recreation Center, we believe in providing a welcoming, energizing space where you can focus on your goals—whether that’s hitting a new personal record, sweating out stress, or enjoying a pickup game with friends. But while you’re working on your health, we want to make sure your belongings stay safe for you to come back to.
Unfortunately, it only takes a few seconds for someone to walk off with an unattended bag, phone, or wallet.
The Pro Shop makes it easy to lock up your belongings:
- Bringing your own lock? Awesome. We encourage it.
- Forgot one? No worries. Locks are available at no cost to check out for day use, or purchase at The Pro Shop.
Free Equipment Checkout
Need gear for your workout or game? We’ve got you covered. Recreation Center members can check out a variety of equipment free of charge for single-day use. Just make sure to return everything at least 15 minutes before we close to avoid late fees. (Lost or damaged items may result in a replacement fee.)
Here’s a look at what’s available:
- Racquet Sports: Tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball, and table tennis equipment
- Balls: Basketballs (indoor/outdoor/water), footballs, soccer balls (indoor/outdoor), rugby balls, futsal balls, volleyballs (indoor/outdoor)
- Other Gear: Badminton sets, Spike Ball, frisbees, Wallyball kits, flag football flags, pugg goals, hand wraps
