Time to kick off the 2025–26 academic year with an even better fitness experience at the Cal Poly Recreation Center! ASI is excited to announce that fitness class reservations are back for Breakaway, Body Pump, and Fusion Pilates. Whether you want a full body strength class or a high intensity cardio session, you can secure your spot ahead of time to guarantee your place in some of our most popular classes.
Here’s everything you need to know to reserve your spot and make the most of your workout:
ASI Access App
Before making a reservation, you must Set-Up Your Access on the ASI Access app available on Google Play or the Apple App store.
How to Reserve Your Spot
Reserving your space is quick and easy! On the home page of the ASI Access app, select the icon titled “Reservations”. Reservations open 24 hours before the class start time, so set a reminder to snag your spot early!
Arriving for Class
Plan to arrive 10 minutes before class starts to check in and set up. If you don’t claim your reservation, your spot will be released to walk-ins 4 minutes before class begins.
Check in Process
Check in with ASI staff at the fitness studio entrance. Just provide your name and reservation info, and you’ll be all set to enter.
Class Setup
Once you’re checked in, claim your space and set up any equipment you’ll need. If it’s an equipment-based class, follow your instructor’s setup directions to get prepared for a safe and effective workout.
Be on Time
Punctuality helps everyone get the most out of the class. Arriving on time ensures you don’t miss important instructions and creates a smoother experience for the whole group.
Walk-in Options
If spots go unclaimed, they’ll be released to walk-ins 4 minutes before class time. Let ASI staff at the studio entrance know you’d like to join, and they’ll confirm if space is available.
