ASI Student Government, in partnership with Campus Health & Wellbeing (CH&W), is excited to share updates to the Grocery Tripper shuttle—made possible by the strong student response and valuable feedback from the first weeks of service.
Thanks to your input, we’ve already made improvements to the routes and schedule to better fit student needs and make the service easier to use. As part of these updates, the service is now officially titled Grocery Tripper, and the route is available to view on the Mustang Shuttle website and app.
This service will continue to grow with you! Students are encouraged to continue sharing their experiences and suggestions through the Grocery Store Shuttle Service survey. Your feedback helps us continue refining the Grocery Tripper service to best support student needs.
The Grocery Tripper still runs every Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. during weeks 1–8 of winter and spring quarter. The service was created to help students who don’t have reliable transportation get to off-campus grocery stores like Trader Joe’s, Target, Food 4 Less, and Whole Foods — making it easier to access healthy, affordable food.
The service is free for all students with a valid PolyCard and runs on three distinct routes:
- Shuttle A: Performing Arts Center ↔ Trader Joe’s and Food 4 Less
- Shuttle B: Performing Arts Center ↔ Target, Whole Foods, and Costco
- Shuttle C: Vista Caballo B stop in Poly Canyon Village ↔ Trader Joe’s and Food 4 Less
Pick-up and drop-off times are available on the Mustang Shuttle app. For more information about this service or routes, support with the app, questions, or special requests, contact Takuto Doshiro—Administration and Finance Director, Public Safety Operations and Administration tdoshiro@calpoly.edu.
For additional food and basic needs resources, visit the Cal Poly Basic Needs website.
