The Cal Poly Recreation Center offers a variety of fee-based fitness classes designed to help you stay active, learn new skills, and challenge yourself. Whether you’re interested in strength, flexibility, or self-defense, these specialized classes provide expert instruction in a supportive environment.
Spring Class Offerings
Acro Yoga
Dates: Sundays
Time: 5:30–7 p.m.
Location: Mat Room (043-0192)
Fee: $35/Quarter
Experience a fun and dynamic blend of yoga and acrobatics. Build strength, trust, and balance in a class that welcomes all levels.
Shorin Ryu Karate
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 6:45–7:45 p.m.
Location: Mat Room (043-0192)
Fee: $55/Quarter
Train in the traditional art of Shorin Ryu Karate, enhancing discipline, technique, and self-defense skills in a structured and engaging format.
Private Group Classes
Want a more customized experience? Any of the fitness classes offered at the Recreation Center may be scheduled as a private class, exclusively for your group. These private group sessions are led by trained instructors and can be held at the Recreation Center or off-site. They can be a one-time event or set up as ongoing classes.
