As winter quarter approaches, ASI is heating things up with a variety of Aquatics and Fitness programs. Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, stay fit, or unwind from a busy quarter, there’s something for everyone.
Aquatics Offerings
This water interval training series is best suited for participants with prior-swim experience, or for those interested in developing their aquatic fitness, stroke technique, swimming endurance, and speed with swim workouts conducted by our experienced coaching staff.
This class is designed for those comfortable floating and swimming the length of a pool. Participants will develop stroke techniques in all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) while improving endurance. Instruction is tailored to individual goals and skill levels.
For a more individualized approach, Personal Aquatics Training offers one-on-one sessions with a certified instructor. From mastering basic swimming skills to improving advanced techniques, this program is perfect for swimmers of all levels.
Gain essential life-saving skills by earning your CPR/First-Aid/AED certification through American Red Cross. This blended learning course includes both online modules and an in-person session. Successful completion grants certification valid for two years.
Explore the underwater world with ASI’s Scuba PADI-Beginner Certification. This comprehensive course includes online lessons, pool training, and ocean dives to give you the skills needed to become a certified diver.
Prepare to become a certified lifeguard with this comprehensive American Red Cross course. Learn how to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies, and provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel arrive.
