ASI’s spring 2025 Aquatics Programming offers a range of swim classes designed for different skill levels and goals. Whether you’re a fitness-oriented swimmer, an intermediate swimmer looking to refine technique, or someone seeking personalized instruction, there’s a class for you! All classes take place in the Lap Pool at the Cal Poly Recreation Center. Registration is now open.
Advanced Swim: Water Interval Training Series
For the fitness-driven swimmer, this class focuses on improving aquatics fitness, stroke technique, endurance, and speed. Our experienced coaching staff will lead structured swim workouts in the deep end of the Lap Pool.
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from April 2 to June 6
Time: 7–8 a.m.
Cost: $60
Note: No class on May 26 (Memorial Day)
Intermediate Swim: Stroke Technique & Endurance
Perfect for swimmers comfortable in the water and able to swim the length of a pool, this class focuses on refining stroke techniques in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Participants will also work on enhancing their endurance, with instruction tailored to their skill levels and goals.
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 1 to June 5
Time: 7–8 a.m.

Personal Aquatics Training: Customized Swim Instruction
For those seeking one-on-one instruction, our Personal Aquatics Training program offers customized sessions to meet individual swimming goals. Whether you’re a beginner learning basic strokes or a competitive athlete aiming to enhance performance, our aquatic instructors will tailor a program to suit your needs.
Sessions: 1-on-1 with an ASI Aquatics Instructor
Flexible Scheduling: Arrange a personalized schedule with your instructor
Session Lengths: 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min options available
Cost: $120 for a total of four hours of instruction
