Fall Registration at the ASI Craft Center

San Luis Obispo, Calif. 08/25/2025 — The ASI Craft Center, located in the Julian A. McPhee University Union (Building 65), will have multiple courses and workshops offered throughout the fall quarter. 

Available classes will include block printing, ceramics-hand building, ceramics-wheel throwing, crochet, cyanotype, glass fusing, leatherworking, painting, sewing, stained glass, and surfboard shaping. Single-day workshops and multi-week courses are available. Additionally, students and Cal Poly staff and faculty members will have the chance to purchase quarter-long studio passes for ceramics, sewing, stained glass, and surfboard shaping, enabling them to unleash their creativity outside scheduled class time. Completing a studio safety orientation is required to obtain a pass. Registration opens on Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 a.m., and classes will begin Monday, Oct. 6.
