Join Poly Escapes on May 8–9, 2025, for an exciting two days filled with climbing challenges and incredible deals on used gear! The Bouldering Competition will take place from 10a.m.–6p.m. each day and include four categories: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and open. Participants will cycle through at their leisure throughout the day, climbing the routes in their category to the best of their ability. They will be scored by climbing park staff using a card that they will be able to pick up on the day of the competition. Registration is free and required for all climbers through the Rental Center or online at ASI Poly Escapes.
Used Gear Sale:
On May 8, from 11a.m.–2p.m., used gear will be for sale on the Health Center Lawn on a first come, first serve basis. All sales are final, and all gear will be sold as is. Some of the items being sold will include tents, surfboards, wetsuits, climbing shoes, exercise equipment, sports equipment, surf booties, coolers, and more!
This event is open to everyone including students, Cal Poly community, and the public. Reservations can not be made for a spot at the sale or for specific items. Holding spots for people in line, or reserving specific items is prohibited.
