Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) connects Cal Poly students to their ultimate college experience by employing, empowering, and engaging students through our programs, services, and facilities. We hope you spend time immersing yourself with our offerings this weekend and explore all the fun outside of the classroom ASI offers. Prospective students are able to pick up a passport from the ASI booth at the Open House Resource Fair on Friday, Apr. 11 from 8–10:30 a.m. at the University Union Plaza and Mustang Way to help guide your weekend! Keep reading to learn about what ASI has going on Apr. 11–13.
Friday, Apr. 11
- 8–10:30 a.m. Resource Fair: Global ASI Booth
- Pick up your passport here to start your scavenger hunt! Then, head to the ASI self-hosted events and make sure to get a sticker from each. Bring your completed passport to the Student Government booth at the Campus Showcase on Saturday, Apr. 12 for a chance to win a free Woodstock’s Pizza voucher!
- 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Cal Poly Recreation Center Tours and Guest Passes
- Take a guided tour of this state-of-the-art facility which is Cal Poly’s destination for fitness, recreation, relaxation, and wellness. Also, guest passes will be available for just $10 per day for all eligible adult Cal Poly community members and Open House attendees. Visit the Membership Services Desk for more information.
- 10 a.m.–noon ASI Craft Center Self-Hosted Event
- Explore the Craft Center and watch instructor lead demos in ceramics wheel throwing, ceramics hand building, leatherworking, stained glass making, and surfboard shaping.
- 10 a.m.–2 p.m. ASI Student Government Office Hours
- Explore the office and connect with student leaders.
Saturday, Apr. 12
- 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Cal Poly Recreation Center Tours and Guest Passes
- Take a guided tour of this state-of-the-art facility which is Cal Poly’s destination for fitness, recreation, relaxation, and wellness. Also, guest passes will be available for just $10 per day for all eligible adult Cal Poly community members and Open House attendees. Visit the Membership Services Desk for more information.
- 10–11 a.m. Poly Royal Parade featuring Rose Float
- Didn’t make it to the Rose Float parade in Pasadena this year? No problem! Cal Poly Rose Float will be driving their float from this year’s parade, Nessie’s Lakeside Laugh, in the Poly Royal Parade.
- 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Campus Showcase with Rose Float and Student Government booths
- Engage with the Rose Float and Student Government booths to learn more about these programs. The first 40 prospective students to drop off their completed passport to the Student Government booth will receive a free pizza voucher for Woodstock’s Pizza. Vouchers are only available to prospective students.
Sunday, Apr. 13
