What does an ASI Student Manager do?
ASI Student Managers are able to build skills that can be directly applied to future careers. Specifically, a Student Manager is responsible for:
- Advocating for the ASI student staff experience
- Building and leading a team, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Creating and managing budgets
- Managing daily operations of their program area
- Supervising student staff
We are looking for candidates who possess the core qualities of critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, willingness to grow, leadership, dependability, and strong communication skills. Requirements: Student Managers are required to attend a retreat in June 2026 and must be available to work throughout summer 2026.
