Join ASI Student Government in the University Union Plaza on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 4–6 p.m. at the Better Together event to celebrate connections with friends, family, and culture!
The ASI Student Government team strives to support and provide resources to all Cal Poly students. Take a break from midterms to enjoy free SLODOCO, and make a friendship bracelet, decorate a journal, or write a postcard at this event! There will also be a variety of health and wellbeing booths to visit and learn about available resources on campus.
Olivia Short, ASI Secretary of Health & Wellbeing, created Better Together to foster connection in winter quarter. She shares, “I wanted to host Better Together because, at least for me, the winter months feel a bit isolating and there aren’t as many opportunities to connect with my community. My goal is that Better Together will help combat this feeling by bringing us together to enjoy food, crafts, and most importantly, connecting with our friends, family, and culture”.
Better Together aims to connect students with resources to find belonging, both at school and at home. This event will provide students with the opportunity to steward healthy relationships with their friends, family, and culture while at Cal Poly. At the event, there will be cultural organizations, counseling, and mental health resources.
We hope to see you join ASI Student Government at the Better Together event!
