The ASI Student Government’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Committee is excited to invite you to our upcoming event: the Engage and Empower: DEIJ Resource & Feedback Fair! This is your chance to make your voice heard and help shape the future of DEI initiatives at Cal Poly.
At this casual and fun event, we want to hear from you! Your feedback is crucial for understanding how we can improve DEI resources and support on campus. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or new to the conversation, your insights are invaluable.
What to Expect
Join us at the UU Plaza for an engaging atmosphere where you can connect with fellow students and campus organizations dedicated to DEIJ. Our goal is simple: empower you with resources and gather actionable feedback to address DEIJ-related issues on campus.
As part of the experience, students will receive a “passport” in the form of an index card. As you visit our ASI booths and those of our campus partners—such as SDAB, OUDI, DRC, CH&W, and various Clubs & Organizations—you’ll collect stickers for each engagement. This interactive approach not only makes it fun but also encourages meaningful participation.
Sweet Treats and Great Conversations
To sweeten the deal, SLO Mama Sweets will be on hand, adding a delicious touch to your visit. Grab a treat while you share your thoughts.
Why Your Voice Matters
Engaging in conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice is vital for fostering a more inclusive campus environment. Your feedback will directly inform our initiatives and advocacy efforts, helping us to create a campus culture that celebrates and supports everyone.
