|
San Luis Obispo, Calif. 02/05/2024 — Beginning Monday, Feb. 5 at 8 a.m., Cal Poly students can file as a candidate for ASI President or for the ASI Board of Directors. All important dates for those interested in filing can be found on the ASI elections timeline.
The ASI President acts as the official representative of ASI and the student body to Cal Poly administration and the general public. The time commitment for this position is in excess of 40 hours per week and starts the last day of spring quarter.
The ASI Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from each academic college. The representatives serve as the official voice of students and act as the corporate governing board for ASI. The time commitment for Board of Directors representatives is in excess of 10 hours per week.
As the collective voice of Cal Poly students, ASI Student Government leaders advocate for change, support, and resources to create positive contributions both on- and off-campus. If elected, leaders will have the opportunity to create change and a better Cal Poly for current and future generations of students.
