ASI Events Presents: Chris Redd Comedy Show!

San Luis Obispo, Calif. 11/5/2024 – ASI Events is excited to announce our fall stand-up comedy show featuring Chris Redd. The show is free for all students and will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Performing Arts Center (Building 6). Doors open at 7 p.m. then Chris Redd will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Valid PolyCard and government-issued photo ID or passport are required for entry. Registration is required and will be live on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at noon. Individuals can register through our website.
Chris Redd is a versatile Chicago-born talent known for his work in stand-up comedy, film, television, and music. He released his first one-hour comedy special, Why Am I Like This?, in 2022, which explores his journey through therapy and self-discovery. Redd has appeared in various projects, including Amazon’s Candy Cane Lane, Netflix’s Resurrected Rides, and co-created the Peacock series Bust Down. He was a cast member on Saturday Night Live for five seasons, won an Emmy in 2018 for his work on the show, and has performed stand-up across the U.S. and Europe. Additionally, Redd is involved in voice acting, including in Big Mouth and #1 Happy Family USA, and has appeared in films like Vampires vs. the Bronx and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
