San Luis Obispo, Calif. 04/27/2026 — ASI Student Government is currently accepting
applications for the 2026-27 Executive Cabinet, Chief of Staff, and University Union
Advisory Board (UUAB).
The Executive Cabinet drives change through dynamic, project-based advocacy, taking on
bold initiatives and events that both amplify student voices and bring positive change to
the lives of Cal Poly students in all areas of campus. Under the guidance of the ASI President
and Chief of Staff, the members of the Executive Cabinet will be responsible for the
respective area defined in their Secretary title, striving to reach goals within on-going areas
of importance on campus including civic engagement, clubs and organizations, health and
wellbeing, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, and more! Applications for the 2026–27
Executive Cabinet will be accepted Apr. 27 at 9 a.m.–May 8 at 9 a.m. Interviews will take

The ASI Chief of Staff is an essential part of the ASI Student Government Leadership Team,
providing support and guidance to the Executive Cabinet and ensuring each member is
supported in their role as they complete initiatives in civic engagement, health and
wellbeing, clubs and organizations, and more. Additionally, the Chief of Staff fulfills the
responsibilities of ASI President if they are unable to serve, helping maintain continuity in
leadership and advocacy. Applications for the 2026–27 Chief of Staff will be accepted Apr.
20 at 9 a.m.–May 1 at 9 a.m. Interviews will take place from May 7–14. For a complete list of

The University Union Advisory Board (UUAB) is currently recruiting students from Bailey
College of Science & Math (BCSM), the College of Architecture & Environmental Design
(CAED), the College of Engineering (CENG), and Orfalea College of Business (OCOB). The
UUAB makes policy recommendations for ASI-managed facilities including the Cal Poly
Recreation Center, Julian A. McPhee University Union, and more, while working to maintain
the integrity of the University Union student body fee. From the iconic Cal Poly letters
lighting up the University Union Plaza and the brand-new pickleball and futsal courts, to
the installation of menstrual pads in both the Recreation Center and the University Union,
the UUAB has turned bold student-driven ideas into vibrant campus realities! Applications
for the 2026–27 UUAB Membership will be accepted Apr. 27 at 9 a.m.–May 8 at 9 a.m.
