Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m., the Cal Poly community will come together for a powerful tradition — the 13th Annual Mustang Mile. Held on Perimeter Road near the Cal Poly Recreation Center (Building 43), this event isn’t just a run — it’s a movement for wellness, remembrance, and positive change.
Organized by ASI Events and ASI Intramural Sports, the Mustang Mile is hosted in collaboration with Campus Health & Wellbeing, Friday Night Live, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the WITH US Center for Bystander Intervention. This event continues to honor the memory of Carson Starkey, a Cal Poly student who tragically lost his life to alcohol poisoning in 2008 due to fraternity hazing.
This year, registration is completely FREE and open to students, faculty/staff, and community members. Register now!
Free ice cream and Woodstock’s Pizza will be available for attendees to enjoy. The band Dusty Souls and DJ Luc Poulin will be providing entertainment throughout the event. Costumes are encouraged!
