Get ready for a night of chilling thrills with ASI Events at the Cal Poly Recreation Center (Building 43) on Friday, Oct. 31, from 9 p.m.–1 a.m. for Fright Fest! Costumes are strongly encouraged for a fang-tastic time!
What to expect?
- Free food and drinks
- Free Taco Bell while supplies last, pizza to follow
- Crate stacking at the ASI Poly Escapes Climbing Park
- Laser tag
- Arcade games
- Terror trucks
- Face painting
- A live DJ
- Mini golf
- Video games
- Escape rooms
- A photo booth
- A fang-tastic good time!
Sign-ups are required for select activities and will be available at the Recreation Center at 9 p.m., the day of the event.
What is not permitted at Fright Fest?
- Masks
- Weapons of any kind (even with a costume)
- Outside food or beverages
- Cigarettes, E-Cigs, disposable E-Cigs, or lighters
- Gum
- Animals (service animals allowed)
- Anything that violates ASI Policies
Lost & Found:
All items found during the event will be turned into The Pro Shop at the end of the night and will be handled in accordance with Recreation Center guidelines.
Locker Rooms Unavailable:
Recreation Center locker rooms will be closed for the duration of Fright Fest, please plan accordingly. Restrooms will be available on site throughout the event.
Please note— general use of the Cal Poly Recreation Center will close at 8:30 p.m. in preparation for Fright Fest.
Completed waivers will be required for entry and will be available online prior to arrival, or in-person the night of the event. Students under the age of 18 will need to provide a guardian signature and complete the waiver online by 5 p.m. on Oct. 30. There is no registration required— students must bring their valid PolyCard for entry.
