The ASI Executive Staff is a dynamic program designed for any Cal Poly student who wants to take their involvement and leadership skills to the next level. This is a no-obligation social and leadership development opportunity that encourages students to delve deeper into the world of ASI Student Government to make a positive campus impact.
Executive Staff Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:10 p.m. in the Recreation Center Training Room (building 43, room 109). Members of the public and campus community are welcome to participate and provide public comment during the open forum. Open forum takes place during the first 15 minutes of every meeting. If you are unable to participate in an ASI Executive Staff meeting, but would like to address the group, you may send a letter to the Secretary of Executive Staff. This unique, hands-on program allows for anyone in the campus community to work alongside Student Government, volunteer at events, and include their voices in student leadership. Executive Staff meetings often feature speakers from the Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo community, with past guests including the Vice President of Student Affairs, Dean of Students, and SLO City Mayor, Erica Stewart.
