Details

Meet at the Recreation Center to depart campus on Friday afternoon and drive to Sequoia National Park; transportation provided by ASI. Camp at Horse Creek campground. Saturday morning, head to the Pear Lake trailhead to start the backpacking adventure with a 6.5 mile hike along the scenic trails to Pear Lake. If time allows, a day hike to Moose Lake will be included! Enjoy a weekend under the stars amongst big trees, granite, and Sierra peaks. Hike out and return to campus on Sunday afternoon.
