Trip Highlights
- Our time on the Old Pinnacles Trail will last about 2.4 miles before switching around and enjoying three other trails in the vast Pinnacles National Park!
- The rock formations of Pinnacles National Park were created by multiple volcanoes that erupted over 23 million years ago on the San Andreas Fault!
- Two of our favorite trails—the Bear Gulch trail and High Peaks trail—are known for their cool rock formations, breathtaking canyons, and amazing native flora and fauna.
- Pinnacles was designated a National Monument in 1908 by Theodore Roosevelt and turned into a National Park in 2013 by Barack Obama.
