ASI Makers Market Vendor Information and Application

Our Mission

The mission of the ASI Makers Market is to promote the Craft Center and to provide a location for talented artists to sell their work.

Eligible Crafts

We only showcase crafts that are made by the artists themselves. If you are unsure about the eligibility of your crafts, it is your responsibility to contact the Craft Center at (805) 756-1266 or asicraftcenter@calpoly.edu. Food and drinks are not considered craft items and therefore may not be sold.

Fees

There is a $15 entry fee to participate in the Market and secure your spot. All vendors will pay the Craft Center a commission on sales, to cover staffing, space reservations, t-shirts, and other costs associated with the event. The commission rate is 15% for student vendors, and 25% for non-student vendors. Vendors will receive sales reports at the end of each day. Checks will be mailed to the address listed on the vendor’s W9 form.

Security

We ask all vendors to volunteer 2-4 hours during the duration of the sale to monitor tables. The Craft Center is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise during the sale.

Application and W9

All vendors must complete an application, email their completed (W-9) taxpayer identification form to asicraftcenter@calpoly.edu, and pay the $15 registration fee to be considered for the market. (Note: please make sure W9 is signed and dated).

Vendors can pay their $15 fee in-person at the Craft Center front desk. We do not accept cash or check, we can only process card or Apple Pay payments.

By submitting your paperwork, you are acknowledging that you have read the information and will adhere to all policies and guidelines herein.

For questions, please contact the Craft Center at (805) 756-1266 or asicraftcenter@calpoly.edu.
