Designed for experienced creators, the Ceramics Open Studio Pass allows exclusive access to our ceramics studio. Design, throw, glaze, and fire pottery at your own pace, while still having access to ceramics instructor office hours. Seize the opportunity to sculpt on your schedule — your ceramic masterpiece awaits!

Program Details

Prerequisites Required

  • Previous ceramics experience required. Including knowledge of pottery stages, tools, and equipment.
  • All pass holders must register for and attend the Ceramics Safety Orientation class before using their pass.

Registration Information

  • Registration is required; there is a fee associated with this class.
  • All programs are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
  • Participants must sign a liability waiver and abide by all Craft Center policies and procedures.
  • Summer Open Studio hours are 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

What's Included

  • Access to the studio space and pottery wheels on a first come, first served basis. during open studio hours.
  • Glazing and firing.
  • Access to ceramics instructor office hours.
  • Storage for one bag of clay at a time.

What to Bring

  • Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
  • A hair tie is recommended to secure long hair.
