14th Annual Mustang Mile

The 14th Annual Mustang Mile returns on Wednesday, May 6 at the Health Center Lawn (near Building 27). This meaningful and community-centered 5K of fun honors the memory of Carson Starkey, whose life was lost to alcohol poisoning following a fraternity hazing incident. The event serves as both a remembrance and an opportunity to promote student health and wellness by raising awareness about the signs of alcohol poisoning and the dangers of binge drinking.

The course loops through the Cal Poly campus. After the finish line, enjoy some treats and campus resources to help celebrate. Grab a group of friends and join in—participation is free for Cal Poly community members. Costumes are encouraged! 

Registration opens on Monday, April 27 at noon.
