Roxie Phillips
She/Her/Hers
Coordinator II — Accounting
Accounting
Roxie began her employment in January 2006 while simultaneously returning as a student to Cal Poly. Throughout her career with ASI, she has held numerous positions including administrative assistant at the Orfalea Family and ASI Children’s Center, accounting assistant, accounting technician I – accounts receivable and fixed assets, and most recently accounting technician II – accounts payable and fixed assets. In her role as accounting supervisor, Roxie oversees the daily functions of the ASI Accounting department and oversees the daily work of multiple full-time and student accounting staff. Roxie received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting in spring 2012. She received the Calm in the Eye of the Storm Award for the 2018–19 fiscal year. Roxie’s favorite thing about ASI is the chance to mentor students, share her knowledge of accounting, and teach skills that will be used in the “real world” throughout their career. Roxie has really enjoyed the transition into full-time management where now she gets to mentor full-time staff, provide excellent customer service, and shape the future of the ASI Accounting department.
