Heather Zacker

Heather began working for ASI in 2021 as the Director—Finance. In this position, she is responsible for the oversight of the and Accounting department and helping ensure the financial well-being of the organization. Heather obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with an emphasis in Public Accounting. She received the Certified Public Finance Officer designation through the Government Finance Officers Association in 2017 and the Certified Public Manager designation in 2019. Heather has extensive experience in government and non-profit finance, most recently serving as the Accounting Manager for the City of Santa Maria. Heather’s favorite thing about being employed with ASI is working for an organization that is dedicated to making a positive, lasting impact on the student’s lives.
