Cal Poly Recreation Center Main Gym Project

San Luis Obispo, Calif. 06/17/2024 — Starting June 17, 2024, the Cal Poly Recreation Center Main Gym will be closed for maintenance. Maintenance will include roof repair, gutter replacement, and drywall restoration. For the duration of the project, the Main Gym, including the North and South Gyms and pre-function lobby, Studio 1, and the ASI Poly Escapes Climbing Park will be closed to allow for construction access. Breakaway fitness classes currently held in Studio 1 will be relocated to the Training Room (Room 109) during construction. The Mat Room will remain open and accessible. The Recreation Center Training Room will be closed for reservations. The Main Gym and impacted areas are expected to reopen in the early fall quarter upon construction being completed.
