ASI Events Presents: Swae Lee in Concert!

San Luis Obispo, CA. 05/14/2024 – ASI Events is thrilled to announce our spring concert, featuring Swae Lee! The concert is free for all students and will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at the Cal Poly Recreation Center Main Gym (building 43). Doors open at 6 p.m. with student DJ I.P. What’s The Addy? kicking us off at 7 p.m. before Swae Lee takes the stage. PolyCard and government-issued photo ID or passport are required for entry. Registration is required and will open on Tuesday, May 14 at noon. Swae Lee is the younger and rhythmic half of Southern hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd with versatile music and sound that is undeniably Swae. Outside of his duo work, Swae has made a name for himself with tracks such as 20x Platinum “Sunflower” with Post Malone, Diamond Certified “Unforgettable” with French Montana, showing off his noteworthy writing credits in tracks such as Beyoncé’s “Formation” and Travis Scott’s Diamond certified “Sicko Mode.” Swae’s repertoire is not exclusive to the r&b and hip-hop sphere as he can take on a ballad form and mesh into a more electronica background.
