ASI Events Presents: Fright Fest

San Luis Obispo, Calif. 10/16/2025 – Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is excited to announce a night of chilling thrills at Fright Fest, hosted by ASI Events. Visit the Cal Poly Recreation Center (Building 43) on Friday, Oct. 31 from 9 p.m.–1 a.m. to participate. Completed waivers will be required for entry and will be available online prior to arrival, or in-person the night of the event. Students under the age of 18 will need to provide a guardian signature and complete the waiver online by 5 p.m. on Oct. 30. There is no registration required— students must bring their valid PolyCard for entry.

Attendees will experience a live DJ, and various activities such as— laser tag, arcade games, terror trucks, face painting, dodgeball and sports, mini golf, video games, escape rooms, and a photo booth. Food and drinks will be provided— Taco Bell will be available while supplies last, and pizza will be provided following. Select activities will require sign-ups that will be available starting at 9 p.m., the day of the event.

Costumes are strongly encouraged. Items not permitted at the event include masks that cannot be removed or lifted, weapons of any kind (even with a costume), outside food or beverages, cigarettes, E-Cigs, disposable E-Cigs, or lighters, gum, animals (service animals allowed), and anything that violates ASI Policies. Please note— general use of the Cal Poly Recreation Center will close at 8:30 p.m. in preparation of the event.
