Vision Board Making
Join ASI Events and ASI Wellness for Vision Board Making! Visit The Lounge at the University Union (Building 65, Room 119) on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 5–7 p.m. to set intentions, stay motivated, and visualize success for the new year. Just bring your PolyCard— materials will be provided, along with free sandwiches from Urbane Cafe and drinks!
Trivia Nights
Test your knowledge, win awesome prizes like Pokémon Booster Boxes, luxury chess sets, and TI-84’s, while enjoying free Woodstock’s Pizza! Join ASI Events at The Lounge at the University Union (Building 65, Room 119) on select Tuesdays— Jan. 20, Feb. 3, and Feb. 17, from 6:30–8 p.m. Come solo or with friends— teams will form at the event. Free with PolyCard, no registration required.
Acoustic Hours
Enjoy live music and free food at The Lounge at the University Union (Building 65, Room 119) during Acoustic Hours presented by ASI Events! Stop by on Thursday, Jan. 22, and Feb. 19, from 11 a.m.–noon for great tunes and a tasty treat.
Bowling Night
ASI Events and ASI Intramural Sports are teaming up for a fun-filled evening of strikes and spares at Bowling Night! Enjoy a tournament-style competition at Mustang Lanes (Building 65, Room 118) on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 5:30–9 p.m. Participants can register individually or as a team— groups of 4 to 5 players will compete together. Pre-registration is required for individuals under 18 years old, which includes providing a guardian signed waiver by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Registration opens on Monday, Jan. 26 at noon through ASI Access.
Self-Care Social
Treat yourself to self-care and focus on relaxation and a positive mindset in a fun, creative way at ASI Event’s Self Care Social! Visit the University Union Plaza on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 1–3 p.m. to build self-care baggies and interact with service dogs for extra emotional support. Provided self-care bag items include fidget toys, positive messages, motivational stickers, positive “banana,” “potato,” and “pickle” cards, and self-care facial products. Food from Woodstock’s Pizza and boba from Sequel Tea will be provided— just bring your PolyCard!
Build a Bouquet
Feel the love with ASI Events Build a Bouquet! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, swing by on Friday, Feb. 13, from 5–7 p.m. in the Chumash Auditorium (Building 65, Room 205) to arrange a bouquet of flowers, make a card, and grab a cookie or brownie to give to that special someone! The flowers provided will be from the Cal Poly Plant Shop, along with festive boba from Sequel Tea.
There will be two rounds of bouquet making, with the first one being at 5 p.m., and the other at 6 p.m. No registration is required— just bring your PolyCard!
Hobby Horse
Saddle up! ASI Events, ASI Intramural Sports, and Cal Poly Rodeo are excited to host Hobby Horse! Stop by the Cal Poly Recreation Center Main Gym (Building 43) on Friday, Feb. 27, from 7–10 p.m. to decorate a cowboy hat and see what hobby horsing really is! There will be a student DJ, free food from Old SLO BBQ, sweets from SLO Mama Sweets, and free hats and t-shirts while supplies last.
Competitor Hobby Horse events include Group Relay (Speed/Accuracy – 4 people min/max) and Group Dance (8 people max). Competitors can register from Feb. 9 at noon until Feb. 25 at noon through Fusion Play. There is no registration required for spectators. Competition finalists can win the opportunity to attend and perform at the Cal Poly Rodeo in Spring of 2026, Special Hobby Horse Trophies, and gifts from the Cal Poly Bookstore.
Casino Night
Play rounds of poker, roulette, and blackjack, with a lively casino atmosphere at ASI Event’s Casino Night! With an elimination style bracket tournament, this event combines entertainment and relaxation, allowing for a chance to recharge and have fun before the busy exam week. The last 5 players standing will receive prizes such as poker sets, scantrons, and more! Free food from Buffalo Wild Wings, drinks, and chips will be provided for attendees. You won’t want to miss this— visit the Chumash Auditorium (Building 65, Room 205) on Wednesday, March 4, from 7 p.m.–midnight. Registration will open on Feb. 23 at noon through ASI Access.
Study & Snack
As finals season approaches, Study & Snack is the perfect way to stay fueled and focused! On Monday, March 9, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., stop by the lobby of the Performing Arts Center Lobby (PAC) for complimentary food, coffee, tea, scantrons, and a quiet place to study.
