Another year full of fun in the books! ASI Events brought students together once again through free, student-led events all across campus. From major concerts and snow slides to trivia and goat yoga, the 2024–2025 school year had something for everyone. Here are some highlights!
Live Music:
Acoustic Lounge
A brand-new favorite, this event brought a chill atmosphere to The Lounge with live student band performances and complimentary food.
Landon Conrath Concert
To kick off fall quarter, ASI Events and New Student & Transition Programs welcomed indie-pop sensation Landon Conrath, alongside Cherry Blonde. The University Union Plaza was buzzing with music, energy, and good vibes.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
One of the biggest moments of the year! This spring concert brought platinum-selling artist A Boogie Wit da Hoodie to campus for an unforgettable free performance for students.
Comedy:
Chris Redd
This fall, Saturday Night Live alum Chris Redd brought his Emmy-winning humor to the Performing Arts Center in a night full of laughter.
Chris Distefano
Winter quarter delivered huge laughs with Chris Distefano, one of today’s top comedians and a back-to-back sellout at NYC’s biggest venues.
Fan Favorites:
Painting & Petra
A creative favorite in the spring! Students enjoyed complimentary Petra Mediterranean food and drinks while getting hands-on with guided painting from Craft Center instructors.
Line Dancing
Yeehaw! Students grabbed their boots and headed to the MAC to learn classic line dances—no experience needed, just free food, drinks, and a whole lot of fun.
Goat Yoga & Boba
This highly anticipated event returned in fall and spring with baby goats, outdoor yoga, and refreshing Sequel Tea boba on the Health Center Lawn.
Mustang Mile
The 13th annual 5k brought nearly 800 students together in May to honor Carson Starkey and raise awareness about alcohol poisoning prevention.
Snow Day
This event made campus history by turning the University Union Plaza into a snowy escape, complete with donuts, Starbucks hot chocolate, and winter swag.
Hobby Horse
The quirkiest event of the year delivered competitive relays, hilarious team performances, and delicious eats from Efren’s and Slo Mama Sweets.
