Take a break and immerse yourself in California’s backcountry with a trip through its plentiful woods and rolling hills. Enjoy A weekend of great, natural places and even better people. This trip will offer something for even the most experienced outdoors person, so come along and disconnect from distraction and connect with good company.

What to Bring
A more comprehensive packing list will be distributed at the pre-trip meeting. Good, sturdy hiking shoes with ankle support, sun protection, weather-appropriate clothing, copy of medical insurance card (if applicable,) the capacity to store two liters of water, toiletries, a quart-size bag of personal snacks, medications, money for dinner on Friday evening, a bowl or plate and utensils for meals, etc.
The following items will be needed and can be rented for half off at the Poly Escapes Rental Center if you have registered for a Poly Escapes Trip: headlamp and batteries, sleeping bag and sleeping bag liner, sleeping pad, trekking pole, etc.
