Start the day with a scenic hike, propel through cool waters, observe marine life, and enjoy a nature-filled adventure to a local ocean destination in a sit-on-top kayak or stand-up paddleboard.

  • Depart from campus on May 18, 2024.
  • Hike a local Montaña De Oro bluff trail.
  • Tea party, complete with tidepool exploration.
  • Return to campus the same day in the evening.

What's Included

What to Bring

  • Backpack for day hiking (25L minimum)
  • At least 2L of water carrying capacity.
  • Clothing that can get wet.
  • Closed-toed water shoes for paddling.
  • Personal snacks and reusable mug.
  • Active clothes and sturdy shoes for hiking.
  • Rain jacket
  • Hat and sunglasses
