Join us for a walk from campus up Poly Canyon where we will observe and identify different types of plants. Become familiar with California’s native flora with experienced naturalists and have the opportunity to collect and press plant samples.

Details
Begin on campus on the Baker Lawn and have the chance to learn about a rare plant species from New Zealand that is sitting in plain sight. From there walk to Poly Canyon past the Plant Conservatory where we will take a tour of the green houses. Stroll up the Canyon, stopping frequently to ID plants from Sticky Monkey Flower to Poison Oak and Eucalyptus.
