• Depart from campus Saturday morning
• Hike a local Montaña de Oro trail
• Enjoy lunch and a kayak adventure
• Return to campus that same evening

What's Included

• Transportation
• Basic paddle instruction
• Kayaks, stand up paddleboards, lifevests, and paddles
• Group gear: first aid kits, GPS
• Meals: Lunch and warm drinks

What to Bring

• Backpack for day hiking; 25L minimum
• At least 2L of water carrying capacity
• Clothing that can get wet, closed toed water shoes for paddling
• Personal snacks and reusable mug
• Active clothes for hiking
• Rain jacket
• Sturdy hiking shoes and water shoes with substantial sole
• Hat and sunglasses
