Sophia Napier

I am a fourth-year student at Cal Poly SLO, pursuing my bachelor's degree in landscape architecture. I started out as a participant in the Design Department during the 2023 float “Road to Reclamation" where I worked on the baby snails. After getting hands on building experience, I became a design lead for the 2024 float “Shock n’ Roll: Powering the Musical Current”. On this float I oversaw and created the coral elements on the float. I am now excited to continue my participation in Rose Float as this year’s Vice President. Rose Float has allowed me to be a part of a creative design-build process which I hope to take with me in my future career as a landscape architect.
