Secretary of Accessibility
Third Year, Kinesiology, College of Science & Mathematics
Branch: Executive Cabinet
Regina has been involved with disability activism and the Disability Resource Center (DRC) on campus since her freshman year at Cal Poly. She is passionate about increasing accessibility on and off-campus to create the most inclusive environment possible for fellow disabled peers. She works with other disabled students to create and present disability and accessibility training seminars to various entities on campus. In the Secretary of Accessibility position, she hopes to use her disability knowledge and suggestions from the community to create a more accessible campus—a place where students can feel pride about all their identities. Outside of ASI and academics, Regina enjoys swimming, dancing, cooking, and new forms of art. She is looking forward to working with the community to fix accessibility issues, inform people about disability, and champion disability pride. Please contact Regina with any suggestions on how to make our campus more accessible and inclusive to everyone in the disability community and beyond.
