Reese Matheny

I am a third-year architecture major at the San Luis Obispo campus and my rose float journey began in the spring of 2022 as a deco team member for the 2023 float: Road to Reclamation. The next year, I held the position of SLO Decorations Chair for Shock n’ Roll: Powering the Musical Current. Taking on that role was incredibly challenging but equally rewarding. Being chair made me grow a lot and I am thrilled to be taking on the challenge once again as SLO Operations Chair for the 2025 float. After college, I hope to have a career in the restoration of historical homes.
