Quinn Akemon

I am a current plant science and horticulture fourth year at Cal Poly SLO and plan to graduate in Spring 2024. I have been a part of the Rose Float program since my freshman year and it has led me to some incredible people, places, and experiences. I'm excited to apply my knowledge from serving as the Decorations Chair last year to my new position as President and I can't wait to see what the team comes up with for this parade. When I'm not working on Rose Floats, I volunteer as a campus tour guide and do senior project work experimenting on venus fly traps. This team is an absolute powerhouse and I'm so stoked to get to work with each and every one of them! See you on January 1st!
