Jennifer is from Monterey Park, a city in San Gabriel Valley, California. She is currently a member of the Korean American Student Association, Country Line Dancing Club, and Students for Immigration Justice on campus. In addition to that, she has worked as an imaging technician at the Robert F. Hoover Herbarium in Fisher, and currently holds the position of a lead scholar mentor in charge of residential learning communities for the Cal Poly Scholars. During her free time, she loves to camp, ride horses, surf, paint, write snail mail, and scuba dive with fish! Some personal goals for her future include traveling the world, meeting people of diverse backgrounds, and working in a field that helps the environment. This year, she hopes to build her leadership and planning skills through guiding others on their path to achieve their goals, heal their wounds, speak their voices, and find inner peace.
