Jackson Martinez is a second-year political science major at Cal Poly, concentrating in American Politics. Originally from Sacramento, California, Jackson is passionate about public service and policy with a strong commitment to student advocacy and accessibility.
This past summer, he gained valuable legislative experience as an intern in the California State Assembly. At Cal Poly, Jackson currently serves as the secretary of accessibility for ASI, where he is focused on launching initiatives that improve access and support for all students across campus. His journey with ASI began as an executive staffer, where he first discovered his interest in student government and campus policy.
Jackson hopes to one day make a lasting impact through a career in public policy, continuing his dedication to improving communities and expanding opportunities. In his personal time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball, going to the gym, and staying active. Above all, Jackson is committed to serving the students of Cal Poly and ensuring their voices are heard and supported.
