Collin Marfia

Hi there! My name is Collin Marfia and I am this years Vice President for the program! I am a third year double-major in History and Anthropology & Geography with a triple-minor in Environmental Studies, Sustainable Environments, and Indigenous Studies in Natural Resources from the San Luis Obispo campus. My first time working on the Rose Float was on Cal Poly’s 2022 float, StarGrazers. I was a member of the Construction Team and was usually found working inside the float with the engines and hydraulic lines. This past year for Road to Reclamation I was the Hydraulics and Engine Lead as well as the Drive Engine Operator for the float during the parade. In the future I hope to pursue a career in Museum Studies or Historical and Anthropological Research.
