Bella Twiss is a second-year agricultural communications student from Mariposa, California, a historic rural community in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Growing up deeply connected to California’s agricultural industry, Bella developed a strong interest in agricultural literacy, rural advocacy, and bridging the gap between producers and consumers. At Cal Poly, she is actively involved in the Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow, CAFES Ambassadors, and Agriculture Leadership Society, and she contributes to student engagement through various campus events and outreach efforts. Bella is also a recently licensed realtor, combining her passion for agriculture and rural communities with helping clients find properties that fit their lifestyles. Outside of school, Bella enjoys traveling and exploring California’s outdoors. As a member of the ASI Board of Directors, she aims to amplify student voices and strengthen ties between Cal Poly and the agricultural community.
