Samuel Andrews is a 3rd-year environmental management and protection major and member of the Board of Directors representing College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Sam became involved in student government through University Housing, serving as Inter Housing Council (IHC) President of Trinity Hall as a 1st-year before serving as IHC President (2020-21). As IHC President, Sam lead a council that authored more proposals that were granted acceptance than any other in IHC history and received the LEAD Award for Leadership in Action. In the spring of 2021, he held this role while simultaneously serving as the ASI Secretary of Health on the ASI Executive Cabinet, focusing on improving access to basic needs resources and managing sexual health in the wake of a nationwide STI outbreak. Sam plans to spend this year seeking to create structural change in ASI.
