Aubrey Goings

I am a second-year at Cal Poly SLO and I joined the Decorations Team in my first year! For the 2023 Float, Road to Reclamation, I designed and decorated a baby snail, detail mushrooms, and the inchworm. I also led the construction of the pinecone knots that decorated the log! For the 2024 Float, Shock n' Roll: Powering the Musical Current, I was the Assistant Decorations Chair. I contacted many potential donors and was able to help us cover much of the float with wonderful donated materials! The detail, design, and leadership skills I've gained in Rose Float are things I want to take with me to thematic or historical preservation architecture.
