Andrew grew up in Imperial Valley, located in the southernmost part of California. Andrew has deep agricultural roots . He represents the fifth generation of agriculturists in his family, partaking in Junior Fair Board, FFA, and 4-H starting at a young age. Through leadership events and livestock production, he developed a passion for agriculture. This led him to take on a variety of leadership positions on local, regional, state, and national levels.
Last summer, Andrew served as a Government Relations intern for CropLife America in Washington DC. In this role, he gained hands-on experience advocating for federal policy to protect food production practices and maintain trade relationships internationally.
Prior to his time on the East Coast, he interned with Grimmway Farms in Bakersfield, CA; enhancing his knowledge of agricultural production and gaining experience developing their Natural Resource and Biodiversity plan during his time.
