Sophia Napier

Sophia is a fourth-year student at Cal Poly, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. Sophia started out as a participant in the Design Department during the 2023 float “Road to Reclamation” where she worked on the baby snails. After getting hands on building experience, Sophia became a design lead for the 2024 float “Shock n’ Roll: Powering the Musical Current”. On this float, Sophia oversaw and created the coral elements on the float. Sophia is excited to continue participation in Rose Float as this year’s Vice President. Rose Float has allowed me to be a part of a creative design-build process which she hopes to take with her in a future career as a landscape architect.
